Snorkelling Koh Samui, Thailand. Calypso operates snorkelling trips from Koh Samui to Koh Tao & Koh Nang Yuan three times a week. Small groups with around 10 participants. This tour is appropriate for beginners and experienced snorkelers.

Pick up time at your hotel:
Maenam Beach, Lamai Beach 7:00 am - 7:15 am
Chaweng Beach 7:10 am - 7:25 am
Choengmon Beach, Ban Rak Beach,
Bophut Beach 7:20 am - 7:35 am

There will be a minibus to pick you up. Please wait at the reception of your hotel. The driver will know your room number.

Departure is as soon as all participants arrived. We use our speed catamaran for the transfer to Koh Tao. A catamaran is a boat with two hulls what makes it very comfortable even with swell. There is plenty space for 24 passengers. We need about 90 minutes to get to Koh Tao (distance is 75km). If there are divers on board they will switch to our live aboard boat at Koh Tao. Snorkelers stay at the catamaran.

We go to the first snorkelling site. We provide you with quality equipment like mask, snorkel and fins. Your tour guide provides a detailed introduction into snorkelling, the equipment and teaches a few handy tips. If you would like to float comfortable at the surface you can use one of our swim jackets.

We will be in the water around 10:00 am. The snorkelling sites are coral reefs and coral gardens. The boat will wait for you. Mostly a slight current brings us towards the boat. To assure safety a boat boy accompanies the group with a kayak and provides spare masks, snorkels and a swim west. You have about one hour time to explore the underwater world slowly and unhurried.

Then we go to our live aboard boat. You have around one hour time for whatever you would like to do. You can enjoy a coffee or tea, go swimming, snorkelling and/or relaxing on the boat.
Around 12:00 am the boat will move to another snorkelling site. Again you have about one hour time to observe coral, fishes and other underwater creatures. Lunch will be served around 01:00 pm at the live aboard boat. Departure time back to Koh Samui is between 02:00 and 02:30 pm.

At the pier at Koh Samui there will be a minibus waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel. According to schedule you will arrive in your hotel around 04:30pm.

The snorkelling trip is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Price: 2900 Baht per person / children 6 – 11 years 50%. The price includes: all transfers from and back to hotel, two guided snorkelling tours each around 60 minutes, snorkelling equipment, lunch, coffee, tea, water, cookies and fresh fruits.

Please bring: towel, sun cream, a t-shirt for snorkelling, a camera.
